Join in an open-ended discussion on new science & technology trends. Ranging from the hot science announcements of the month to growing technology trends, we will cover everything new happening around us. There are always exciting announcements in the fields of hard science, transportation, our brains & bodies, the future of carbon nanotubes, gains in Artificial Intelligence, & also fun discussions on future societies, living forever, robots, drones, & intelligent computers replacing us or taking over the world. All in all, there is a lot to discuss & be informed about!

Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday night of the month (taking a break June-August). Picking back up in Sept 2017. Open to ages 11+. No registration required. Discussions will be led by Assistant Library Director David Nimmer. The focus of the Sept discussion is Bitcoin & cryptocurrency: a currency, a Ponzi scheme, or something else? Smaller topics include: Super Gel (5x stronger than steel & flexible) & hackers new tool...your cell phone.
