Location: Pioneer Village (4880 Cty Rd I, Saukville, WI, 53080)

Join other library patrons from Dodge, Ozaukee, Sheboygan, and Washington County libraries to experience living history at Pioneer Village! This educational, fun-filled, FREE event is for all ages! It is sponsored by the Monarch Library System.

Period craft demonstrations will include: blacksmith, carpenter, spinner, rope maker (hands-on), and a speaker at the train depot
Activities will include: exploring over 24 restored pioneer buildings and structures; playing pioneer games like hoop rolling; creating pioneer inspired toys and crafts; experiencing storytime in a log hay barn originally built in 1865; doing a scavenger hunt throughout the grounds; and grabbing lunch (for purchase) from the Ozaukee County Historical Society. (Lunch menu includes a hot dog, chips, soda or water, and a cookie for $5.00.)

*Most of Pioneer Village is outdoor, so please dress accordingly. The event will occur rain or shine though!
